This episode was really good. I always enjoy Power for all the wrong reasons but they came off with this one.
I didn't know till this ep that Kanan last name was Stark. Kanan Stark.
That shyt has no ring to it. Don't sound like the name of a boss from Southside Jamaica Queens. The slums of Winterfell maybe 
They shoulda had Fif point the gun at Tariq and squeeze the trigger but the gun is out of rounds. Everything established about Kanan up to this point, I don't have him just walking off. I get they didn't wanna kill off Tariq yet but damn. Why wouldn't he even attempt one last fukk you to Ghost and pay back Tariq for his betrayal? Ain't that much affection in the world. Kanan killed his own son and murdered an old woman with his bare hands. A nikka that does that at least tries to shoot Tariq.
He coulda squeezed at him, realized the gun was empty, enjoyed Tariq cowering in terror, did his trademark Fifty grin, then coughed up some blood and walked off somberly.

If I was Tommy I'd have been munching that down as soon as we got back to her crib. Which now that I think about it was dumb. Tommy got the ill loft. Da fukk we going back to your bum ass apartment for? Ain't like your kid is there But she needed to be served that subpoena for episode purposes so the writers were like 
I need some 2 Bit smilies ASAP.
And I see his boy Spank is supposed to be comic relief. Yeah this show don't need comic relief, Spank. There is plenty of unintentional comedy and the drama scenes aint that heavy. Kill Spank please. I don't need to hear not one more Spank one liner or see him make this face at somebody
When BET makes The LL Cool J Story, Dre should get the lead role.

50's shyt doesn't count, it's fake.
I've got to watch this episode again because I was being distracted but unless I missed something that scene where 50 and Tariq are pulled by the cops made no sense. If the cops were acting on a missing person's possible kidnapping tip then why did they immediately search the trunk before they even verified if Tariq was being held against his will? That made absolutely no sense. If the police had pulled a car on a tip from the mom that her son was being kidnapped by the owner who was a convicted felon, then they would've approached that car guns drawn and immediately subdued 50.

They needed 50 to be a recurring character in order to secure the deals with Starz. Without him the show had no star power. That's why his character stayed around long past the time it should. Now that he has the leverage and other shows & ventures, he isn't needed. It's likely downhill from here of the show itself tho.

Tariq is green as fukk. Kanan only taught him how to nickle and dime.
50 waves are TRASH. His shyt look processed like a mahfukka. Like he uses the shyt bytches use to slick down they baby hairs all over his head. Riq shyt looks effortless and natural.

Yeah I’ll keep saying it. Really like the show but Tasha is just a terribly written character. Worse than Gemma from SoA and that’s saying a lot.
