Doesn't he realize that his supporters are people who root for the underdog and the artists who are getting the short end of the stick? Why is he dancing with Puffy now? Smh, this won't end well, watch. He'll be dissing Puffy in 4 months when he sees the negative feedback
Aint gon be no negative feedback Joe has transformed himself into the underdog, people are rooting for him to succeed to spite complex.

Drink Champs is on REVOLT and averaging damn near half a milli per show(in fact drink champs averages more viewers then revolt has subs imgaine how many of those people only came for drink champs and will leave if drink champs leave). Joe Buddens podcast is booming breh 100s of thousands of people are watching him TALK(think about that) for 2 hours now hes on an actual Platform that seems to know what their doing when it comes to these type of shows.

Im saying it now Joe is going to own 2k18, and i beileive this will set a precedant for the Culture i think more platforms will start to come to the OGs for shows and ideas and i think this will give the Legends a means to be relevant, make money and still create in the future over all a win win imo as well as a:pacspit:to these vulture who leach of us, i think this will really show them their place yall need us to move WAY more then we need you Joe lowkey made a MAJOR power move which is why so many are taking his side.

:myman:
Those views are good/great for YouTube but they don’t even do a 1/5th of that on actual TV which is the problem. Joe gets hundreds of thousands of views on his own channel; he doesn’t need Revolt’s YouTube traffic (which is probably paid for). Why split the pie?

Revolt is desperate for content but they don’t have the money/people to create good content so they’re trying to jump on any wave they can. The production value will go up on the podcast but beyond that, i don’t see the point.

We gonna talk about Fela releasing diss songs at governments and having them shook?

In 1977, Fela and the Afrika '70 released the album Zombie, a scathing attack on Nigerian soldiers using the zombie metaphor to describe the methods of the Nigerian military. The album was a smash hit and infuriated the government, setting off a vicious attack against the Kalakuta Republic, during which one thousand soldiers attacked the commune. Fela was severely beaten, and his elderly mother (whose house was located opposite the commune)[8] was thrown from a window, causing fatal injuries. The Kalakuta Republic was burned, and Fela's studio, instruments, and master tapes were destroyed. Fela claimed that he would have been killed had it not been for the intervention of a commanding officer as he was being beaten. Fela's response to the attack was to deliver his mother's coffin to the Dodan Barracks in Lagos, General Olusegun Obasanjo's residence, and to write two songs, "Coffin for Head of State" and "Unknown Soldier", referencing the official inquiry that claimed the commune had been destroyed by an unknown soldier

:wow::wow::wow:

Hollywood out here putting out the same generic, sappy civil rights movies yearly when someone could be making an epic movie about this man's life.

Ok i see what your saying and actually agree if hes just moving his podcast over its not worth it, but im certain its not just going to be his podcast, hes also doing live shows later this month to showcase local talent on some Dej Comedy Jam/Apollo shyt so i wouldnt be surprised if that has something to do with this signing in fact i think we will see Joe on TV fairly soon whether he has a show or is hosting an event.

This is a very smart move on both parts....

Joe and Soulja Boy were the first rappers to leverage and use live streaming back before smartphones...

Joe used to announce when he would go live and have fans in chatrooms that he would interact with....remember when Raekwon snuffed him? He immediately went on live....

fastforward now every rapper hops on IG live.....Joe was ahead of the curve....he doesn't get the credit he deserve as far as content creation and fan interaction....Everyday struggle a show and podcasting he also excels in ...

This has nothing to do with music and everything to do with content and being ahead of the curve with fan interaction and Joe can do that in spades.....im sure Joe had some million dollar ideas that complex didn't want to invest in....
