When you are 30000 feet in the air and their is trouble is when atheists reveal their true nature, there are few things more terrifying and chilling to the bone than the idea of getting killed that way, its frightening . Let us thank God every second we have a safe trip or journey

The chances of a plane crashing are extremely low. Estimates suggest that the probability of a commercial flight crashing is about 1 in 11 million. More recent data indicates that the odds of dying in a plane crash are even lower, at approximately 1 in 816 million. Overall, flying is significantly safer than other forms of transportation, such as driving, where the odds of dying in an accident are much higher

That turbulence when my flight was minutes away from landing in Narita was one of the most terrifying things I've ever experienced.

It was so bad that the plane literally nosedived for 3 seconds while it was about 3000 meters in the air. The plane was rocking so badly that my jaw was knocking, and that lasted for around 5 minutes in total.

Despite this, I still wanna ride on an airplane someday :wow: Had to take Amtrak from NYC to FL and man that was an miserable experience and I love trains :hubie:

Someone on the Amtrak sub Reddit wanted a cross country HSR express train from NYC to LA and even posters in that sub was like, dude we already have that, there called airplanes breh :skip:

Also it feels like the various U.S based airlines are safer than the ones in other countries. When the last time a passgener plane crashed in the U.S, AA flight 587 in 2001?

Overseas airline safety seems like a crap shoot.

Used to take Amtrak all the way from Michigan when I visited California because I was afraid to fly:damn:

It’s cool the first time seeing the country but after that you wanna blow your brains out lol

Hopped on a plane because there was a huge delay going back home. Flight was cool and then we hit some turbulence. Made me pray real quick. After that settled it was cool again. Lowkey had a mini panic attack when I looked out the window the first time :russ:

I was on Delta and apparently they’re the best airline.

Just book a ticket

Overseas air travel on American planes is the same as domestic travel

It’s the same company

I know plane manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus supply planes to airlines worldwide....That airline in OP is not Delta/AA/United/JetBlue/Southwest or Spirit.. those airlines I just mentioned haven't had a major crash in years. I was talking about the airlines rather than the planes themselves.

I went back a few years and didn't see any of the U.S based airlines mentioned earlier in my post having a major crash in recent years with most of the ppl on board getting killed. The perception to me is U.S based airlines are much safer than ones overseas, I could be wrong about this, its just my perception :hubie:

You trying tell me that there hasn't been a innovation to reduce the deaths when a plane crash???

How about attaching a giant parachute to every plane that deploys if the plane loses power?

Love flying, only time I didn't was immediately after 9/11, took Amtrak for a work trip. That being said occasionally I will drive to destinations cause I like having my own vehicle and the ability to leave on my own schedule.
