I'm kind of curious since I was never an SOHH'er. Mind telling us a story?
Dap+Rep on deck.
So, this was probably over 10 years ago, so I'm probably messing up a few details.
Back then, AB posts were still tough to read (breh is the only person I've ever encountered that has random floating COMMAS
), but they were definitely easier to understand than they are now. And homie used to talk ALL the shyt. So, you'd run into a thread, and see like four-fove posts in a row with him getting at people saying they didn't know shyt about basketball or hip-hop.
Back then, most of the more frequent posters were pretty up front with people knowing what they looked like, by AB was an exception breh's had had the same City of God avi for at least 14 years. So, combine the shyt talk with the perception that he was hiding behind an avatar, and breh's wild claims (I'll never forget him saying his mother or grandmother, can't remember which, was a personal driver for Earl the Pearl Monroe), and someone was just waiting to line him up.
I don't remember the poster, but as most exposals start, AB was told via thread title to get into a thread, post haste. Inside, the OP just produced all these pictures of AB that were at best, ill advised, and at worst wild corny. You know how everybody has that moment when they have a cold ass outfit on, and they look in a mirror, make a dumb face, and say something along the lines of "yeah, I'm killing 'em with this one", before laughing at themselves? They were all that, but as pictures that somehow got uploaded to the internet.
But to make matters worse, I vaguely remember breh was usually in threads talking about being a young fly breh out in the streets. Remember how I said he's like the Coli's eccentric uncle that may or may not start every conversation with you with "Aye youngblood"? There were PAGES of posters clowning on his mustache. More were dedicated to clowning his waves. And as always, there were people ready to clown his hairline. The pic I remember people laughing at the most was this one:
But to his credit, I remember him being in the thread trying to respond to jokes. He didn't run from the fukkery. I think the only other two people I ever saw handle fukkery better were Bigrod (
) in the threads where people clowned his album covers and club pics, and Courtdog when he truly believed that Craigslist had been good to him.
Internet fukkery at its finest, I swear
