the reason '24 is desantis' shot, is that hes NOT a great politician so he'll never see this timing again. look at the factors;

-his big appeal is the "i kept the schools and businesses open" talking point, that no one will give a fukk about past the '24 election
-he's coming off the biggest reelection victory in the country for the Rs, in an embarrassing overall underperformance. so hes the clear frontrunner
-his opponent is the oldest president ever. the sheer contrast of a 46 year old vs an 82 year old will be and frankly, dominate the entire campaign conversation
