Republicans lost again now wanna change the rules even after controlling the state house/state senate/and governors mansion... we broke the republicans brains so much they wanna get rid of run offs and even think about ranked choice voting ....and this wouldn't even ben as much of a problem if Georgia didn't have so many useless ass counties:
why do we want runoffs though? warnock won both his original elections, and should have just been the winnerif anything, it seems like some bullshyt to let republicans 'fix' outcomes they don't want. isn't that the origin of the practice?

Appeal to black voters.
No appeal to the donors and big money. You can't appeal to that set with progressive views.
The establishment and donors don't care about appealing to black voters any more than Trump cares about appealing to poor and poorly educated voters in that the bare minimum will be done to get their vote and that's it.
Really what has Joe Biden done for black voters? Did he even get a new voters rights bill passed holding both the house and senate as well as the presidency?
Of the top of my head he put a black woman on a Supreme Court so tilted by the democrats incompetence its a non-factor and her vote means as much as conservatives say it means.
Don't be fooled. The democrats do not want a progressive voice at the front of the party pushing policies that benefit blacks and everybody else. The donors want a controlled leashed politician to mostly keep the status quo going.
Sorry but people that think this is about black voters or any voters are fools. If the big democrat donors don’t give you the stamp of approval you aren’t getting the nomination. In 2020 that was shown when a front runner emerged that the donors did not approve of. Calls were made and the field was cleared to get his ass out of there.!!!
If you’re running for president and you color in between the lines the donors and establishment give you then you can say whatever. Outside those lines you will be silenced and those group of people don’t give a fukk about black voters outside of them showing up to vote then shutting the hell up and going away just like they want from progressives.
Blacks just like progressives will simply be held hostage by a party that has little interest in giving them anything meaningful. They just want that vote.
