naaah, they also remastered 9 for steam and these leaks have been pretty specific when it comes to SE, chrono cross, FF Tactics and TO are named remaster and this is the only one being named remake.

9 is already in 3D, it’s far simpler to remake. If i were square i wouldn’t even try to re-do the fixed camera angles or anything. Just re-do all the assets and throw in real-time cutscnes
