Very impressed with Jeremy Tache during that Israel Palestine discussion. He spoke about the nuance of this conversation, the formation of Israel, Zionism as a concept, etc.

I love how Sampson shut down Dan’s hyperbole about an apocalypse, straight up dismissed him :mjlol:

Dan is always crying and vomiting that the world is going to end.

I’m sorry that was :laff: especially for such a serious discussion.

Was unsure to listen to it cause while I understand their perspective I would have liked to have seen a perspective about what Palestine is going through or at least get Amin in for a Muslim perspective

Awful Announcing article brought me to this interview. All money isn’t good money and she ruined her career by not going Simmons and The Ringer who would have known how to utilize her skillset.

1. They wouldn't have been able to afford her.

2. Simmons's massive ego would've never let him hire someone who could possibly outshine him at his own network.

All money isn't good money and The Ringer did make a run at her, but she took the money from ESPN and it caused her career to stagnate.

At least he would have known how to try and use her instead of ESPN throwing money at her because of her emmy with no plan whatsoever after.

Simmons would've never put her in a position to succeed. He'd undercut her the moment it'd seem like she was more popular than him. Nolan is an alpha, and Bill only likes second fiddles to work under him.

This is the same guy who replaced Stein and Bucher, two guys who could match him in ball knowledge and sometimes embarrass him, with Joe House, who has zero basketball credentials and simply kowtows to everything Bill says.

That may be true, but again it would have been better than how it played out at ESPN with her.

Simmons does a 180° on people AFTER they become popular and show they can hold shyt on their own, not before.

I personally see no big appeal on Katie Nolan but if she went on to The Ringer they would've given her whatever shows they thought she'd fit best and probably make her lead their video content (which at the time was none existent and Concepción ended up taking it and having success).

Bill still acts like he's a 16 year old only child and he takes shyt hilariously personally (it's probably why he stopped talking to Dan, he probably got offended over some retarded shyt and took offense to it) but he does know how to pick people and put them in positions to succeed. You are right that in the end he ends up sticking with the ones that show 100% devotion/loyalty to him, but I see no scenario were he doesn't try to make Nolan as big a deal as possible if she would've taken her offer :manny:

He does have a podcast called BOMM, which stands for "Black Opinions Matter Muthafukka". It's probably him in his most authentic state.
This is my first time hearing about this. I if wonder he only promotes Cinephobe (which all this time I thought was a part of meadowlark, I’ve never listened to know otherwise).

:mjpls: The alt-Mike part of LeBatad’s audience would probably bytch about this to Amin.

The BOMM episode with Wos asking/about Israel kinda explains why LeBatard ain’t about to have Amin and Samson on at the same time to discuss it. Juju probably would’ve hit Samson with “David you are not my brother” when it would have inevitably went left. :mjlol:
