tbh, they’re all like this. They basically will call out folks they’re not cool with. Dan sometimes will but it’s with kids gloves. We see this w/ Bomani and his types a grip, especially when it comes to women journalist (especially Jemele) but they won’t defend or speak up for Sage Steele (and not like she deserves it either). They play favorites just as much as they chastise stars for forming super teams. I get the equality piece of why they do it but guess what else comes with that? Being held accountable for stupid shyt you put out there in the Twittersphere and elsewhere. They won’t treat them with the same fervor as they will a male counterpart and it’s transparent af.
but the whole Kwame situation, they’re not going after the “initiators” and idk if it’s cause they’re in that media space now or they’re afraid but to speak on KB’s background and everything under the sun but make slight mention of “aye, this man just tired of being their whipping boy and Exhibit A of bust” is what this is all about. He just took it to a area they weren’t expecting and good for him.
