hope DK does their thing in finding a way to get the show back on a live/linear platform. i also hope this tightens up the show some, i'm fine with BS or Lour being trash, but so much of the main show is :flabbynsick: now
This is from Cote's article, glad Dan pushed back against a pay platform, fan of the show but I'm not paying for another service just to hear it.

The new-era Dan Le Batard Show With Stugotz — with DraftKings as title sponsor — will continue for the next several weeks to be available as a podcast — as it has been since Le Batard and ESPN mutually ended their long association on Jan. 4. Beginning this summer the show is expected to be televised on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch and DraftKings’ own channel, which it is starting.

I was always iffy on the idea of them going to Sirius. While they'd likely be able to do whatever they want, but asking people to pay for a Sirius subscription would've easily halved their audience, if not worse. Sounds like the new deal puts Draft Kings in charge of getting the show as many places as possible.

:dead: at the possibility of Draft Kings trying to work out a deal for the show to air on some form of ESPN.

Dan Le Batard, sellout — So let’s see if I have this straight: He painted his ESPN superiors as undesirable partners because they didn’t want him causing political wars on the radio … yet he’s ethically willing to jump headfirst into the gambling cesspool. In the end, he’s the grimiest of all. In the latest example of desperation leading to hypocrisy, LeBatard’s lengthy search for a company to distribute his podcast led to DraftKings, the tout louts who will control ad sales and licensing arrangements. This will sink Le Batard’s show into the betting crapper and complete the demise of a once-great journalist. He claims DraftKings is “truly sponsoring our freedom … (and won’t) corrupt us in any way,’’ but just wait until he’s required to read non-stop wagering spots. Maybe he should familiarize himself with the DraftKings statement: “Additionally, the network of shows will prominently feature DraftKings’ odds, betting trends and general sportsbook and daily fantasy information.’’ I have an idea: Papi’s Power Parlays! Another day, another betrayal of a media industry gone putrid.

And how he pronounced controversy. How the hell was dude not a mainstay in the shipping container

he's hilarious
I think he joined once they left ESPN. Apparently he does stuff with broadcasting partners that wouldn't allowed him to work with them during their tenure at ESPN.
