I've figured it out why I got problems with the show since before Trump even ran for President and not so far removed from when Bron left the heat the show got worse. From Dan going though personal shyt so that getting him off his game, Dan literally stopped caring for months at a time, the pushing of Mike on everything like Mike at this point talks like a 1B mic at this point, the weird riding of a celebrity for a month when past a a few days they aren’t even using the talent of said celebrity, also the interpersonal relationships of them all as you listen is weird.
Dan does this thing where he’s always trying to frame something even as someone is framing their own thoughts and feelings like when Kobe died Dan kept with the whole your in the helicopter going toward the cliff clutching your daughter on your way to your demise that shyt was so fukked up. Typically when you listen to radio your imagination can run to fill the blanks of things you don’t know but when you take Kobe or living as a black person in America when we already live the picture it’s like what he’s saying is unnecessary. I’m not into the whole moralizing thing but Dan is a big time finger pointer. I listen for Stugotz.
Most of it is Dan’s fault while listening to him trying to laugh off Roy’s saying how Trump could affect America last week it s been leaning to a thought of mine that’s this Dan views himself as more brown than he really is and he views all non white men as a super minority majority when he’s more of the majority minority by that he’s actually more white than Stugotz who is a Jew. Dan has stated multiple times when a me too like thing happens that they are coming for Stugotz type people when Dan is like one of those kind of people. He calls the show a brown show but it’s not. I really think seeing when Jemele Hill to Bomani to SAS went through since 2015 broke him because he knows he never would’ve went through none of it. He wants to be a martyr so bad but everyone is aware that he has nothing to lose so his whining does nothing. His comments about Magic and the way he talks about black people for example the Watson shyt. Deshaun Watson who is 25 years old in the NFL with a 156 Million contract looking to be traded and Dan uses the fact that he grew up poor living in a home that was donated to him as reasoning for it. Don’t let a black athlete have a dead parent either. When the Heat made the finals he couldn’t talk Jimmy Butler without mentioning his horrible childhood. The grief eater finds the mere thought of darkness as so tantalizing.
When Dan left ESPN they let him have the feed when Bill Simmons left he didn’t get shyt. Bill Simmons who could’ve and should’ve been an executive at ESPN. In hindsight you could argue that ESPN was grooming Bill Simmons to be president of ESPN one day. Listening to the John Skipper interview and Skipper has to reiterate to Dan that he was a friend when he visited him during a tough time just for Dan to a few seconds later to be all we weren’t friends. If someone starts a company with and for you at the minimum you a friend. Dan has a person to check off for every label he has a gay black intellectual (John Amechi former basketball player that maybe if he practiced more instead of reading sponge bob wrist material his game would’ve been better and he would’ve been a bigger figure for his gay people), He has a black intellectual in Bomani who he forces to teach him in a way that I know annoys Bomani( I’ve listened to his other podcast and he yells at people that ask dumb shyt like Dan), Pablo smart Asian man who is so smart but let’s laugh and minimize him to boost up the next person on the checklist, Mina the Asian Sarah Spain the whole she knows more than us plus she’s ASIAN, Sarah Spain she’s a woman in sports RESPECT her brain even though she literally became famous off her body, Katie Nolan the young version of Sarah Spain, Dominique Foxworth educated black man who I’m just going to shyt on, Marty Smith kooky southern white guy who Dan never presses with questions of racism and the optics of the college sports industrial complex, Amin Elhassan African cat hair cat who should be a mind used for basketball but hey let’s make him a complete joke then slice the legs under him because some white guy on Reddit, Greg Cote a white old man Dan can blame as a person who is the reason America is how it is , a literal zoo keeper, and soon he will have a tranny
