@YakSpiller
One, I'm just copping to complaining about Dan, in this thread. Don't take
every complain and make them out to be from me.
Then why complain about the things he says. Stop listening if you don't agree.
This is a childish suggestion.
Stop expecting everyone to be a hater or devoted stan.
I've even posted suggestions for him to improve and the exact problems I have with his views. I'm not expressing outlandish critiques or name calling or attacking him personally or being vague at what the problem is.
Critique is a part of life and you should expect it from every one.
Dude talks about race and politics which most of these talking heads are afraid of because they're scared of pissing off people like the ones that stormed the capitol on Wednesday.
I don't even know what this is supposed to mean.
That's a pretty low bar if your talking about ESPN. I actually engage in politics from an academic level, that's why Dan is so frustrating at times. He's not speaking at a level to where he's needed. I'm gonna need Dan to atleast read a book about black history/current events.
- The Color of Law, Richard Rothstein
- Man-Not, Dr Tommy Curry
- The Color of Money, Mehrsa Baradaran
This
emotional shyt non black liberals/lefties/Democrats do gets annoying when it doesn't sound like they know what they are talking about.
That shyt last week was a drop in the bucket in a ocean of crazy shyt white folks have done in this country.
shyt like; dead black bodies rolling down the Capital stairs is overboard when someone like
Stan Van Gundy is agreeing with him for the most part but presenting his points like a level headed grown up. Stan sounds like he reads books on this shyt and talks to people outside of a show to get perspective on the black American experience.
I'm just saying we should spend more energy being more critical of people like him instead fukking Dan Le Batard.
This is a Dan Lebatard thread, why would we be talking about anyone else?
You want us to give Dan a cookie for talking about racism and you don't know how to say it.
