Gonna miss Fat Chris. Dude has the most infectious laugh I’ve ever heard. Didn’t Dan once take a pay cut to keep the crew together once? Billy still on right? I see he has producer of some other shows podcast on his Twitter bio

Chris said he was the only one who got let go.

Dan eluded to the guy possibly losing their job one day. That sucks for Chris man, he just got married.

He should've hit ESPN with his catchphrase: "I have a child:damn:"

I'm going to miss his energy that he brings and his general buffoonery:mjcry:.

Besides the things he would do behind the scenes or produce for the show, Chris' on-air job during the show was mainly call screener, which he can't do remotely (as evidenced when Dan tortured Mike w/ screening Tua songs while running the board/show) so I can see how some corporate tool behind these layoffs would see that as the most expendable position on the show. Still sucks though.

For the people asking about Tony (insert Bomani's "No disrespect...but who the hell is Tony?), he took over as show booker for the show specifically as Allyson Turner moved up to book for all ESPN Radio so, just guessing, but being newer/cheaper and doing a show function that can still be done remotely might have kept him on.

Dan needs to opt out the minute he gets the chance.

Yeah, the show isn't as great as it used to be.

Yeah, chris was MAYBE the most expendable of the crew.

But only a fool would be stupid enough to think the cuts stop here.

Next round it'll be even worse.

Fukk espn :mjcry:

ESPN is letting go a lot of people. I would pay 10 a month for Dan and everyone unregulated, but Dan's salary is hard to walk away from when you just got married

you know whats interesting. I like the thin and wavering line dan and bomani walk on at ESPN.

Its impressive how they can speak on serious topics and have engaging discussions while not stepping to far out into political leanings. We know where they stand somewhat but the suspense and content it adds to the show is very much needed.

if they got off espn and start going that route, i think it may lose some appeal to me.

i enjoy the fact they shyt on espn while
Being on the inside. They expose and enlighten the audience on the dealings of their industry. Which no other show does.

Agreed. A good portion of the comedy of the show is them knowing they have expectations if their content, and then trying to do the bare minimum of that, while blatantly trying to derail the show as often as possible.
