Them cats know what the deal is, Dan jokes all the time about how Stugotz stays moving further and further away. COVID has shown Stu, he can still do the show from the crib. Hes gonna milk this COVID shyt until the end to try to record at home as much as he can.

Y'all talk about Stugotz's worst characteristics as portrayed on the show, as if they are actually a good thing in real life. Maybe I'm naïve but I still think the Stugotz is an awful person thing is still mostly a work. I honestly don't believe Dan gave a damn about the local hour and if he ultimately didn't want it gone it wouldn't be gone. He stopped doing that shyt too at a time when the local deal was clearly bout to be up.

I do think this is a demotion tho and the show will likely be ending at the end of this contract and I'm gonna miss this shyt.

All y’all woe as me fans are just nostalgic , thinking about the old days and the familiarity the show engenders because y’all let it become part of your lives . Show has been run its course and trust me... a much better , smart , Black-hosted show will pop up and fill that space at some point . That lane is right there for the taking and that show is probably already happening right now below the radar.

Then when a major picks up that show, y’all will be all on they shyt .

I guess I'm in the minority but y'all overrate the fukk outta Stugotz. The show is unlistenable when Dan isn't there and Stu is leading the ship to me, while on the other hand I can listen to the show without Stu just fine. Lol @ Stu repeating his lines like Umar Johnson just so that he can fill up time just to reach commercial break.

I know someone posted the very first episode on Youtube but I kinda wanna listen to the 05-06 Heat years or 09 when Wade was an MVP contender
I know Hochman was on the show in those early years too

I know the hysteria and fun really kicked in with the big 3 era (Those years are still the peak, felt like Miami vs the world and how they'd get at all other analysts and the rants) but Im trying to see some of the old stuff

On another note I don't know what dirt Clinton Yates has on somebody at ESPN but it must be worth a lot because they've been trying to force him as a tv/radio personality for what feels like a decade and he stinks.

Just listened to that mystery crate, they absolutely killed stugotz. Could be their shtick or might be real - he clearly cost them airtime, but I’m sure they barked on him about it as it was happening. But real talk, this show needs Allison, she booked the GOAT guests, that’s been part of the fall off to me, the guests aren’t as good, no epic interviews like the first Kenny G, Lemmy, or when that wrestler went off on Dan, and their “friends” don’t appear as regularly - I loved the rotations of Pablo, mina, bo, the annual pat sajak episode, etc
