Dan discussing serious topics isn't reason for me to miss alt right, all in the video Mike...these topics need to be discussed without Mike immediately trying to cut them off with jokes. Dan could have injected a bit of levity, but the topic deserved some bars...just look at reactions to this Wade stuff here on this board

It's not just Dan pontificating seriously stuff though. Even that has it's place. The show doesn't flow as it should. It's fine, sure, but not as good as it should be.

Truth of the matter is, this show (like every show) works best when all actors are able to play their role. Any one of them missing throws the chemistry off.

Nah I get that people don't like him for his takes/the personality. My only contention is that antagonist approach is extremely necessary. Lest we have Dan trying to be poignant on one end and half assing sports discussion on the other.

That's a fair take

But with Mike Ryan you're not going to get a weighted approach. so while I can appreciate his engagement on some of the topics Dan likes to discuss (let's be honest, no one else on the show will do this) I feel like his own personal beliefs spill into the conversation

Yup I know all about him just didn’t know how to spell his name. Played w/ my favorite player T-Mac in Orlando.

him being smart has nothing to do with him supporting a 5 year old boy wanting to be a girl and his parents obliging. John is gay and going to push that agenda.

I feel like a smart person would have said you are 5 yrs old your father shouldn’t be dressing you up like a girl.

I guess you are in lock step w/ Wade, Dan and AMAECHI about his pre teen son attending gay pride parades? Cause Wade isn’t “ashamed”.
Then dan goes on to talk about kids being beat and scars left cause a child is gay and his dad wants to beat it out of him.

Of course Dan needed another segment to talk--uninterrupted, again--again D-Wade and his gay son.

Look, I respect D-Wade's stance on this, and of course homophobia is prevalent in American culture.

But, what ignorance? What education?

My thing is; is their really a scientific consensus that kids are "born" gay or that it's based on environment?

Because, like it or not, people relate those pics of D-Wade's son to abuse, same thing with Charlese Theron.

And until we talk about that--and not just call people "brave" for coming out about their minor children's sexuality ( in a hella gay friendly media--media, specifically) and demanding it get more media attention--we're gonna keep playing the "well, there are just being ignorant."

What John Amechi said is correct; but, there's a difference between a doctor's son being a plumber instead and your son wanting to become a woman at 11.

I work in an elementary school where it’s a second grade boy who comes to school in heels and dresses and uses the girls restroom. I believe it’s unfair to the kid to allow them to be a full blown girl before they know what sexuality is.
