The thing that sucks about the show is that on the TV simulcast, they don't play the original songs that are on Mike Ryan's playlist. They usually play these fake songs...like the fake Daft Punk song or the song that starts as a country hoedown, then blends to a fake jazz 70's detective theme song. Besides that...and Sarah Spain.

TV has different licensing rights for music than radio, which is why they have to play the generic public domain stuff.

Those fight promo-ish commercials on radio for the Stugotz vs Golic doughnut challenge Thursday are hilarious. Makes eating mini powdered doughnuts sound like the event of the year.

I missed a lot of the show so far. Whats going on?

didn't hear the local hr but to catch you up:

Airness vs Wallace bait & switch.
Stugotz would rather be doing First Take.
Some Mizzou talk recapping yesterday interrupted by doughnuts.
Thursday's doughnut challenge at this point: If Golic eats 36 mini powdered doughnuts in an hour, Stugotz shaves his head with dollar shave club razors. If Golic can't do it, he has to oil himself up and do bodybuilding poses.
Golic gave Stugotz an out, most everyone thinks he's going to back down. (including everyone in studio & like 75% of listeners)
A random lineman appears and offers to step up to the powdery plate for Stugotz.
Everyone agrees he couldn't step in for Stugotz, but can now be a third party trying to wolf down fried sugar while Stu fears for his follicles.
Cote makes a horrible, awful, stunningly bad Creed joke.

That should be up to around when you asked.

Sometimes I see why Stu doesn't really bother to give his opinion or listen. In the local hour, Stu and Greg gave good points as to why they think Florida is a basketball town and Dan repeatedly shot them down. Since Stu is so used to being 'wrong' he just says 'Yea you are right' and they move on. Maybe Stu picks so many fights with his wife because he knows that he could win them as apposed to when he is at work.

And there is nothing wrong with doing a 'typical' sports show especially when you are talking about the local teams.

Did you just refer to Tony Boselli as "a random lineman"? I mean...he's not THAT old for ppl to not know how good he was. shyt.

41st was the worsest turf on the earth...

He's an offensive lineman who played 7 years in the league for the Jaguars tho, breh. :patrice:

Yeah he was good when healthy but we ain't talkin bout Anthony Munoz here. Random lineman doesn't seem all that egregious to me. :manny:

It was commenting how Boselli, completely unrelated to everything so far, popped up in the doughnutness out of nowhere; nothing relating to his status as a (ex)player.
