This show fell off.

Used to start listening at work soon as the local hour started and would ride all the way til 1pm. Now i skip the local hour and only listen to parts here and there of the national show. Feels like they've mailed it in since the contract re-up

C/s the sentiment of the show being old. Thought it was my new commute on the train that made me not listen as closely, then I realized dudes simply aren’t making me laugh nor keeping my attention

I been wanting to say the same thing for months. It's like they got the new deal and stop caring.

I don’t know if they stop caring or they care too much about being the character they developed on the show

Nothing seems organic or genuine anymore

You can’t really predict how everyone is going to respond to a topic especially Stugotz and you can’t even guess how the topic will be derailed

Cote still makes me laugh whenever he's in. N magill n Stan Van are always top notch.

However I agree that the show has become a bit stale, n the main players have all taken a step back as far as entertaining me personally.

The old adage about "less is more" clearly applies here.

N oh yeah Mike Ryan was/is/will be forever WOAT.

Agreed on the show just going through the motions after the new deal. I now listen like once a week and just download the "best of" podcast, something I would've never done before. And I've been a listener since like 2010, I've been through phases when I don't listen, but never like this .mjcry:

Last few times I was on their reddit board there was a decent number of people complaining about the show, especially Mike Ryan but then they get drowned out by I bunch of replies saying "they don't get the show".

I said about six months back that I stopped listening simply because every convo seemed like nothing more than a setup for some tired bit.

Man do I miss that sweet spot of weekend wrap up on Monday including the introduction of the Weekly Game notes, Cote/Magill Tuesday, Stan Wednesday, Bomani Jones Thursday, and a properly timed Club on Fridays. Talk about some unfukkwittable radio

Agree with the show being stale now. I thought it was just me "outgrowing" them.

They still manage to have good segments now and again but it seems rare that they have a good hour or entire show these days.

I think the quality of the show dipped when Dan and Stu made the obvious attempt to turn the shipping container into on air personalities of their own rather than just supporting cast that chime in when needed.

They go OTT sometimes with the silliness but stuff like Mike’s Andrew Luck impression is still funny as shyt.
