Dawg, SI ran this article just a few hours after the game trying to dampen the fun. Dan does plenty of fukk shyt but he didn't create this narrative out of thin air

You can find mentions of everything under the sun on Twitter, that’s not a good barometer. I wasn’t on twitter so maybe it was one of the main conversations, but dan brought this up as if it’s equally top of mind as the discussion is around his performance, it’s not. I didn’t hear any mainstream (radio and tv) bring up his case last night nor this morning.


Edit: I see your SI article. In that case, they’re definitely doing too much and maybe I should cut dan some slack for simply mentioning what others were doing.

I'm glad brought it back up, actually.



Cuz I've changed my mind; he's good to have brought it up.



But, now I see his problem; he wants to both ways.



Example; OBJ was on Bron show mad ppl asked him to dance in public...but his whole steeze to flamyboyant, carefree, emotional, celebrating dance guy.



Same with the show wanting to be the silly, "rebelleous" show.



That D-Rose take came outta nowhere. And the game wasn't even 12 hours ago.



It's the same reason I don't want just him talking about race. He wants to do too much at the same time and it pisses ppl off.



Now, if he wants to go there; then anytime he talks about Derrick or Kobe or Floyd, then always throw "alleged rapist" or "convicted batterer" in the beginning of their name.



I've transformed how I've felt about sports and I'll never be able to enjoy it like I used to. It's used to cover up so much foul shyt.



But, we're selective on the foul people we expose in the media...

shyt during the telecast after he hit 50 the announcer alluded to the case. shyt was just foul. For some reason any accusations have to forever be brought up with black athletes.
