That's true but I was thinking of the simulcast tv show because even Jim Rome is on TV full time now because CBS built him a studio and he is on satellite radio. I think doing more things means higher pay. Radio guys only have to promote so many products and do so many commercials to make up money they aren't getting by not being on some of the other media options.
I didn't have time to wait in line for Caliendo because I had money to go lose in the casino-Cote
I hear you Greg I am saving up money right now to lose in Vegas this summer.

I could be wrong but basically Stugotz started the network he's a true bag man but to get on the show he has to play a fool while getting second billing
I just cant see Dan going to another network because he wouldn't want to leave Miami. ESPN built a studio down there and I don't know if CBS sports or Fox sports does enough business in Miami to feel like its worth it to build a studio down there. They could just rent space for the show but if Dan turned down a high paying job from the NFL network and that's the only reason Rich Eisen works there now then I cant see Dan leaving Miami unless he really wants to stick it to his new boss at ESPN. I think ESPN will have a lot of leverage in negotiations especially if Dan would want the other network to also sign Papi to a contract.Dan has had Bomani on a lot recently I think he is trying get him hot again like he did before and Bomani has turned down Foxsports in the past. If Dan bounces maybe Bomani and few of the people Dan helped blow up will bounce too if they aren't feeling the direction of this new boss.
I think Dan could give a bleep about ESPN, but don't think he leaves because it's the best opportunity for the rest of the guys.

Funny you mention this because I had the same thought Saturday. I was driving on a road trip listening to the show and it dawned on me that intentionally or unintentionally they set the format up to not need ESPN.
I think its whenever he turns on the mic and delivers bad radio or doesn't add anything to the convo. The Power Ranger Putty/shower talk was hilarious and then Cote just runs right ove rthe joke Dan was about to deliver. He's so bad its hilarious.
