Dan does that shyt on purpose. He wants to be the anti-homer and knows that Miami sports fans want to feel like it’s them vs the world so he plays into that. He didn’t do it with the LeBron Heat because they actually were hated on by everyone.

That’s actually pretty common in Miami. UM tuition is really expensive. I grew up a Canes fan and got accepted there but ended up going to FIU because the tuition was too high at UM and I got a partial scholarship to FIU. And with FIU sports being so trash, it’s easy to stay being a Canes fan.

I understand your explanation but people don't call out Mike Ryan because he is a UM fan they do it because he is doing the fanatic thing. I thought it was just an act for the show until he admitted that his wife got into a physical altercation with a woman over the team and Mike has been in many of those fights with opposing fans. Mike has ruined entire local hours by not letting anyone else even get their opinion out about a Miami game. Like I said before Alabama doesn't have the nightlife and pro teams that Miami has so I can understand a guy who doesn't have a GED loving U of Alabama like any alum would and wanting to argue/fight people. I almost said Alabama doesn't have fun beautiful beaches like Miami but actually they do have miles of beaches too.
