It makes sense though, because ESPN didn't want Stugotz in the first place. They wanted Dan & Bomani to cohost nationally, but Dan stuck by Gotz and it worked out. Also, at the beginning of the ESPN, Dan mentioned ESPN not liking the nickname Stugotz and not wanting it in the show title. They're holding him back.

I think more Dan is what they need, the only one, other than Olberman and Simmons (where they at? Hmmmm) that doesn't just blindly push the ESPN bullet/talking points. Dan brings the best out of Stu, without him, he would not have the platform he has, and if he did, he would be a take robot, he would be a more like able
