If Stugotz decides to hang it up, Amin seems like a great option to be a full time cohost with Dan. Gotz is funnier and alleviates some of the serious or boring droning Dan gets into….but Gotz rarely voices a legitimate stance of his ownbeen listening since about ‘09 and still can’t tell you what Stu’s general politics are.
Where as Amin isn’t afraid to voice a differing sincere opinion, even if most in the room don’t like it (like the Rachel Nichols/Maria Taylor shyt, or when he was sonning Jessica, or today how he pointed out the same documentary Kyrie posted gas Islamophobia but no one’s asking about that).
Jessica’s aight. She’s at her best doing those little adlibs in the background…and outside of the time she went silent after Amin sonned her….she and Billy are the only ones that will actually counter some of Mike’s bullshyt.
Also I think Jess plays better if you watch the video feed and see how often she's feeding Stugotz jokes or playing something tongue-in-cheek...she plays along way more than people might think audio only.
Also, Amin's "NOS is like" line today was superb.
