Usually agree, but the escalation of the bit here was trying to get Cote to realize it's a bit in the moment but he kept believing, which made the whole situation even more ridiculous. They kept giving him so many points where he could realize it was a set-up and call them out on it on air but he kept with it, making it even sillier. Plus Greg's narcissism thinking all his key interactions with Bricker would also be the most memorable things to Bricker himself is classic Cote.My problem with McKay calls is that they always end up going too long, and he takes it to a point where it's obviously a bit. Subtlety definitely isn't his thing.
This guy calling is saying the exact 0-14 week of picks (that Cote has saved all these years and referenced on air a week ago) drove him to put a gun to his head & pull the trigger and Cote is still thinking this is the real Bricker. Then he remembers the exact call with his wife decades ago (that Cote referenced a week ago) and starts calling his wife 'lippy' & 'a bytch' and Cote still runs with it. And then he goes into the cult shyt and the whole time Cote is still thinking this is the actual guy. Then they have the 'cult leader' call in and McKay breaks because it's so completely beyond the point of believability but Cote's still gullible enough keep riding with it. Greg remains a ridiculous person.
They got a ton of good content out of Cote casually saying he'd kill this guy if he could get away with it a week ago.
