It was a rather abysmal, irrelevant and somewhat fascinating car crash.

Dan yet again with a very weird intro that makes the guess od defensive. Then mike comes in and fukks it up even more. With his long winded and presumptions babble. Lefoya is absolute loon who lives in a bubble about society and her mix kids. Then roy comes in and he doesnt add much.

These conversations are only good when one side is spewing basura and the other side comes with facts and makes the other person respond to them. Or the gloves are off and they begin calling out the bad faith perspectives and disingenuous societal tropes about holding hands.

This was a complete waste.

I definitely think Tafoya’s views are hard right, but during that segment I could only think alt right Mike is full of shyt. He’ll go for the easy gotchas, when it’s pretty obvious he harbors a lot of those views. Would not be surprised if Billy legitimately does not fukk with Mike…not simply because of his societal views, but because how he goes about playing both sides about. Almost Samson like, but Samson’s more upfront about his views.

How that Tafoya interview went, reminded me that peak LeBatard show is when they were rotating Bo and SVG as regular co-hosts.

Speaking of Bo, finally caught some of Game Theory, he’s pretty stiff with the monologues, the skits and interviews are cool tho.

It’s almost like what Stu is for Dan, Dan was for Bo. Seems like Bomani’s best setting is in a laid back convo where he can riff about some obscure music era or album cut….interject some profound political/race point…or provide a intelligent fresh perspective on a topic, even tho that topic’s been talked about 1000 times.

How did you come away from that thinking Tafoya ragdolled anyone? Mike, Dan, Roy showed they aren't well equipped to be debating any of this stuff publicly, but that women spent the whole time talking about unspecific anecdotes based on false Fox News narratives. Like that book she brought up in her CRT discussion 'White Fragility". No one outside of a graduate level elective college class is being required to read that book and the summary she gave of it could only be thought up by someone operating in extremely bad faith, or by someone who never actually read it. I know people here don't like Mike for whatever reason, but you're out of your mind if you think he's the one who came out looking bad in this.

Completely agree. They really let yer slide that they are teaching this in elementary schools. And not call her a complete liar and ask her to show proof. Yeah we can discuss shyt. But no important discussion can be had when one side is talking in hypotheticals and bad faith and you let them slide.

And while the book has its flawed, its pretty clear on simply showing that white ppl are whether intentional or not, part of a racist past, present and seemingly future if they dont get they act right.

And for all the posters hating on Mike for the Tafoya interview…Get mad at Dan for not calling out her shyt.

You can hate Mike but, to sit here and act like what he was saying wasn’t warranted is just absurd. Despite how you feel about Mike he’s the only one who can go back and forth with people like her. Roy is my guy but he ain’t built for that shyt. Dan is just a shell of himself repeating the same thing over, and over again. At least Mike acknowledged her bullshyt unlike Dan “Last time we spoke it was lovely” Lebatard.

I’m not a Mike fan but let’s call a spade a spade. If he didn’t hop in it would have been Dan fumbling over his words for 10 minutes.
