this meadowlarkers hour is one of the WOAT LB&F ideas...it's peak level pretentious, i mean, it even makes fukkery king Amin become unlistenable. it's weird because i like all of them individually, especially as guests in the regular show, but this "braintrust" circle jerk of an hour is 9/10

I just came to post the same shyt, I usually bring my BT speaker into the bathroom for my morning shave + shower routine and the stream picked up after the Edge interview with the Meadowlarkers. That entire segment was boring and pretentious as shyt, I don't know who Dan thinks is the audience for that nonsense.

I think long term, I think he believes it's him showing how thoughtful they can be on deep dives into subjects, since Meadowlark has been signing a bunch of production deals. I listened to maybe the first episode, and decided that between them and Samson, Thursdays are just for the main two hours and the post show for me. It's not even just that they're pretentious, it's that for all the supposed thoughtfulness, they're not really saying anything unique or new.
