Sun rises in the east
Illmatic
Hard to Earn
Resurrection
Enter the 36 chambers

this is hard because my high school was from summer of 91 to 95. Low end Theory and Midnight Mauaders were released too. There were a LOT of classics released during that time frame

how did people react to stillmatic in school? Was it a topic that nas was "back"?
I was already on SoHH back then, a few of us always rode for Nas (shoutout to @AnonymityX1000 ) but yeah Ether really tipped the scale for Nas and Stillmatic was the finisher.

Off the top of my head:

Graduation
College Dropout
Be
The Black Album
Eminem Show/Madvillainy

Get Rich or Die Tryin and The Massacre were by far the biggest/most popular albums during my high school days though. Not for me personally but just the majority. 50 was massive back in the day when I think about it :heh:

Graduation
American Gangster
Carter 3
808s & Heartbreaks
MBDTF

Honorable Mention
Watch the Throne (technically wasn't in high school anymore)
Section 80 (same reasoning)
No Ceilings (not an album but still impactful)
So Far Gone (same as NC + I didn't consume the project as a whole in real time)

Damn Deeper Than Rap & Teflon Don are left off...

goddamn I forgot the Chronic and Doggystyle. . Also Onyx debut. Yeah, it's kind of hard in those years to just pick 5 albums
