Just noticing this is the first year in the last 3 or 4 House/Electronic wasn’t one of my top genres. It was all Hip Hop and people steady say we don’t have new Hip Hop to listen to. I’ve been struggling finding new electronic joints I like.

after all that fukkery happened, music slowed up and I was mostly listening to podcasts.

Then in july, some how, some kinda way..... I became an Estee Nack fan.







Take It Personal done got me through MANY a hour commute. They're old and white and their takes can be corny sometimes, but the work and research they put into their 2 to NINE-TEN HOUR tribute mixtape shows is fukking outstanding. Interviews can be cracktacular, too. HIGHLY recommended. Trust me, if you like rap/hip-hop, you're gonna find a BUNCH of tribute eps youre gonna love.

Outsiders708 is just come cats from chicago kicking shyt and talking about nothing. I love it. shyt's hilarious.

and that was my year in (or not in) music. First time in forever I didn't have Larry June in my top 3, no less 5. Also the first year I had all hip hop in my top 5 genres. But it's been a very wild, stressful and emotional year.
