Same reason people still talk about record "sales"...

They're actively living in 2019 while pretending it's still 1999 and this shyt makes a diff.

Wonder if USA's gonna cancel Raw over this... :heh:

I agree to an extent, but ONE MILLION viewers in a year isn’t the normal decline that goes with people not getting cable anymore

If it doesn’t fit the markkk narrative that play fighting is in a boom period, that’s why ratings matter for virtually everything on television except the WWWF :mjlol:

You’re forgetting one aspect of your point, that core markkk group that doesn’t change the channel is steadily shrinking. It also seems the WWWF is catering to this markkk group that’s already watching instead of appealing to the casuals like myself who have tuned out of the product 20 years ago

I took a look at the card today and I legitimately did not recognize about 95% of the play fighters on it. When the hell did Mankind retire?

Ratings? Who gives a fukk about ratings?
Ratings dont mean shyt anymore.

They're making money and the wrestlers aren't the draw anymore. The brand is the draw. ufc cant say that.

And as a casual, Rousey main eventing was for you! 50 year old Drax and Attitude Era relic HHH having a match is for you! If that wont make you watch, WWE knows nothing will. :manny:

And say what you will about Rousey shes a mainstream star. :umad:

:ehh:I think it's cool that the women are headlining but truthfully :hhh: Becky Lynch does sound like a man. There is not a drop of femininity in her voice.

I like Seth Rollins as a wrestler, but as the main guy I don't. I can't quite put my finger on it but he's not believable to me as a heavyweight champion. This has nothing to do with size because Kofi, Bryan, etc are all more entertaining then him to me. I would rather even roman have the title then Seth to be honest.

Turner is going to spend ($$$$$) many millions of dollars on AEW programming. The only thing that matters is money. WWE shows still has more viewers than UFC, NASCAR, Soccer, and many NBA/MLB games. Thus them signing a billion dollar tv deal. Russo ‘wrote’ the attitude era and Raw once did an 8 rating. How come no tv network gave Russo a television product but did for Cody Rhodes? Every tv network and their billionaire owner are mark losers too?

They softened her up to fit their face archetype but Becky's character fit better as a heel or at least a Tweener. I don't know why the WWE couldn't have her be the female anti Cena where she's booked as a heel for years despite being cheered.

The WWWF apparently made the fatal error of listening to the markkks and switch her to a face
