i don't classify myself as an atheist, i'm simply a realist who views the world logically.

I wasnt taught to do anything, I chose to accept God at a young age. And plus logic, evidence and science cant answer all the questions of the universe. They cant tell you the simplest thing such as which came first, the chicken or the egg, nor can they figure out how to cure a common cold, nor can man tell you what force is being used to keep the earth rotating at a perfect harmony day in, day out, 365 times a year. All man can do is come up with theories that have no real evidence behind them, all mostly assumptions. Also, lets just assume charles darwin was right and we did evolve from monkeys, than who can explain where all the animals of the sea and land came from, and how they all evolved into their own signifcant designs, and what force created the concept of night and day, the moon and the sun? How did roses form from the grown, etc? Its really quite evident, its up to people rather they choose to accept the truth or not, or just stay happy living on earth for 80-100 years and dying or looking for eternal life.

I can't speak for everyone but I see religion as a language. God some times speaks to some in Christianity, to others in Buddishm, and others Islam. As long as your spirit has a relationship with God , who is the universe and everything in it, he's is ok. If you don't that's fine God will talk you eventually.
