Two Minutes to Midnight
The best of the series (the original was too hard; III was fukking trash all around), and a darkhorse candidate for being in the top 10 NES games of all time.
I definitely had the most fun playing 2. It was challenging, but not fukking ridiculous like the first one. I'm not sure I ever finished the first one
