Yeah I agree with you there. The whole thing is just stupid imo. I would just vote on merit and not on steroid speculation personally. We all know what happened during that era, it was widespread and MLB did nothing for years to curtail usage. They didnt flat out ban PED's until the 2005 season, that seems to always be forgotten when we talk about this

I watched this dude play when I was younger with my Grandfather) (family is from Pittsburgh)and the only player I can think of that had me more hyped was Griffey Jr. Even without the roids he was a gotdamn beast on the field. I really hope he gets in (along with everyone else who used) because most of them deserve it. fukk the asterisks and everything else put the players in, none of the punk ass writers gave a fukk when they were watching them dominate so why give a fukk now.
