I am trying to do the same.

I really want passive income to become financially independent so I don't have to rely on anybody and ideally retire by 40.
I have a money tied up in the stock market and investments but not near 50 a day type, that's what I am trying to do, I think eventually I can get there with more investing with bigger amounts.

You can invest in real estate projects or buy a parking lot.
If you get a house you can start an AirBNB type thing, requires some maintenance though.

I would definitely recommend investing in low risk index funds, play the long game then in 10 years you can be making 50 a day.

Sell/Flip stuff on Ebay/Amazon.
Like what tho?

I was thinking of selling knockoff/off-brand goods made in China. Not sold as the real thing but a cheap alternative that I'd use to undercut the other sellers for a quick get rich scheme.

I need a side hustle that earns and works all by itself.:wow:

Come on brehs, HELP!!

Learning about stocks is daunting, I still need to invest some personal time to learning the basics.

I've got some courses thru Udemy but I haven't started any of them yet.

So low investment stocks, you say? :jbhmm:

There seems to be a looming housing crisis by the talks of some financial gurus in tha housing sector, so I'm a bit wary of putting my money there as yet.

Also, how much money would I need for "low risk index funds".

I'm not trying to do something that will put me in a financial setback or the like.

Whatever you have around the house that you dont need/use anymore.

A few years ago, I set a goal to sell over $2K worth of stuff before I moved into my new spot.

I sold a lot of shyt, clothes, shoes, jewelry, trading cards, cd's, dvd's, etc

When I saw a deal (BOGO, buy one, one for a .25 cents, etc) I thought I could flip, Id buy it and sell. Some times it worked, sometimes it didnt.

I ended up stopping when I was over $2800!

.

Dont over complicate it by trying to learn all of the ins and out of the stock market.

Learn as much as you can about a company you like and its main competition and invest based on that.

Check out this thread for good info on AMD. Was $9 a share a few months ago. Was $15 when I got in, in July. Sitting at $32.70 right now and is going no where, but up. I posted here and on my FB page about a month ago, that anything you put in this company now, will double within 6-7 months. The stock price was $23-$24 then.

Anyone investing in AMD?

Isn't Intel their competitor? So what is Intel doing wrong?

Man, has so much going wrong right now. But basically, they got lazy and couldn't produce one of the chips that was upcoming on their road map. Its been delayed multiple times. Security issues, no ceo, delays, etc

How to invest:

Sign up with a brokerage.

Lots of people like The Robinhood App because it offers free trades, I choose Ally, due its online banking options. I think overall, E-Trade has the highest rating .

You can do a little research, and choose which one is best for you.

From there, just link your bank account, transfer your funds (this will take a few days) and you are ready.

It should be pretty easy to figure out how to buy shares when you are on the site. Just type in the companies stock symbol; AMD for Adv. Micro Devices, APPL for Apple, etc
