Yep. This and also if a movie did really well on vhs/dvd/rentals then typically studios will continue to fund straight to dvd/redbox/whatever sequels for those franchises. So that's why sometimes you are in the grocery store and on redbox you see American Pie 8, Van Wilder 12, Hollow Man 4, Wild Things: Foursome, or goofy shyt like that.

Sequels to movies no one asked for like the mask, dumb and dumber, Paul blart, etc

Tryna change superhero background stories like the shyt with fantastic 4 or trying to make the ninja turtles into aliens.

Speaking of forcing people to watch shyt, AMC tryna force viewers into watching their shytty shows by putting them after their top shows. Low Winter Sun and now Into the Badlands.

It's having the opposite effect in me. I refuse to watch them because of how hard they're trying.

idk if you watch walking dead or Breaking bad when it was on live. They would put the previews for the next episode on after the show they're trying to push instead of immediately after the episode like most shows. As far as I know, AMC is the only ones who does this. Its annoying.

Thats all networks, I know they did that with the real housewives of Atlanta a few seasons back. You gotta wait til like 1/2 of the follow up show to see the preview. They think they slick...
