I did and from a musical standpoint its one of the worst albums of all time. I regret taking the time to listen to the whole thing, but its Blu so I did.

This is an interesting opinion, can you explain why you feel this way? I also feel Gucci is one of the most underrated lyricists of all time (even though I wouldn't go as far as comparing him to big/nas/pac).

The best albums of 2012 so far are, in no particular order: Schoolboy Q, Currensy, Gucci Mane Trap Back, Ab Soul.

NOT: Killer Mike... his album is good but lacks je ne sais quois. Sounds a little too forced and isn't really fun to listen to.

NOT: Nas. Not a bad album at all but it lacks any innovation what so ever. Its the same old Nas we've heard for years. Its like all the songs on this album we've heard before, but they were better the first time we heard them.

Jeezy started the more beat oriented "trap" sound

He did but he hasn't been musically relevant since 101. Ever since then he's been trend following and coasting on a watered down version of his original sound.
