Just got my replacement headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. Now I had a pair of M50s years ago and I don't remember them being this bass heavy when hooked to my amp. Maybe I just need to break the M50x in but right now they are a little too bass heavy. Not a deal breaker though, especially for the price.
