I saw a small part of family feud yesterday and this black family made it to the final part. One of the questions was “name a place where people can sometimes end up loosing their cool.” The guys answer was “barber shop.” It was funny to watch bc you could tell he thought it was a good answer, Steven harvey did too but it got zero responses and everyone was shocked lmao. But when you think about it it’s really about how different spaces end up based on race of ppl who are there. Barber shops are a social space for Black people. I have no idea what they are like for whites people.

WAIT! Why was I looking for a grease on stove image last night!? My momma just upgraded to a grease strainer this year.

and you can't forget... The old TV with the 8 Track that is now used a table for all the family pictures or TV stand for another TV.

We still got two of these -- and my momma won't give them up. One is the garage -- and one in the basement -- used as the Flat screen TV - stand now.
The TVs are vintage, but their missing the 20+ graduation and military pictures sprinkled across them.
