I’ve read it as in most your threads, definitely one of my favourite posters on here learnt a lot from you, but the final product ain’t the same, I’m not denying the influence but this type of music isn’t being made by US artists in droves like it is in the UK.

If it is put me onto some artists.

the basic sonics (basic production, edm synths, r&B vocals etc..) are all in american music minus the afrobeat; which, you might hear that type of beat in deep house/tribal house

All these UK rappers grew up listening to American rap, even though the UK and London especially is carving out its own sound it still has that heavy influence woven into the style. I dont get why these dudes turn around and say fukk America, if you're doing your thing (and I think Fredo is talented) then just do you and dont fukkin worry about what anyone else thinks. But what isn’t an amalgamation of any other cultures. The whole of hip-hop is based off of sampling. The new grime, drill, uk hip-hop whatever you want to call it is holding its own at the moment and is seeing a creative spike atm which is like what US hip-hop used to be. Now its nowhere near on that level and what you have are artists who lack originality and all sound the same, who mumble a lot or just put out wack music. The older rappers and artists like future, griselda etc are the only shining light.
