Like I said in the other thread, being around that MAGA hygiene probably wasn’t the best thing given his condition.
If anything the sight of those two probably made his body change for the worst in disappointment and frustration.

Luis Antonio Tagle is the closest one to Pope Francis’s Progressive values. I think he’s the best choice being 100% honest.
The Catholic Church is moving a lot more left and he’s a great candidate to keep that momentum moving that way in order to continue Pope Francis’s fight. Additionally Pope John Paul II was left leaning and open-minded on many issues.
They’d be giving up too many years of progressiveness if they move right only to appeal to MAGA weirdos.
