The thing people have to realize is that, despite all of his proteges success, Gucci has NEVER completely oversaw the career of a successful artist while he was free.
They all blowed up while he was in jail (Waka, OJ, Nicki) and/or after they left him and signed elsewhere (Young Thug, Migos, Young Scooter, Bankroll Fresh, Young Dolph, Lil Baby).
Honestly, Debra Antney is the one responsible for Gucci and the So Icy artists that blew up while signed to him
