Jones does have a point...it has never been a hallmark of the Black Left to be fully invested in stuff like GOTV; there is a more anti-establishment, fight the power energy to the Black Left that really does not lend itself to getting people elected.

people would be surprised with how many Blacks in even rural parts of the South would be open to Social Democratic canidates but the left does a part job courting them thus leading Centrist/Conservative Dems as our main representatives

Sorry Bernie but the Black Vote has spoken:

Nevada: 76%-22%
SC 84%-16%

Damn that's just brutal on so many levels. There is zero path to the nomination for him with these numbers with Blacks. Super Tuesday isn't going to be pretty for Bern especially with a lot of southern states in play.

Dude's got a path, just not a very wide one. First he's got to win all 5 white states super Tuesday. Minnesota, Colorado, Massachusetts, Vermont and Oklahoma. If he loses any of those five it's over, and I say that as a moderate Bernie stan. He then needs to survive long enough to try to get up to 25-35% of the black vote and sweep all the northern and western/midwestern states. And then somehow he's got to susvive to June and pull California out of his a$$hole.

It's more likely he'll lose either MA or OK, and we'll call the hearse on his presidential chances Tuesday. He'll still run till the end and get enough delegates to get a speech and a minority report at the convention.
