We had a very good chance. Sanders was grabbing the support of disenfranchised GOP voters that didn't like the insanity of their party, independents, and progressives. Sanders, with Warren, simply needed to attack the establishment. Warren barely done it, knowing she'd get massive flack from women and punishment from Hillary if she'd won, and Bernie was just too nice to attack the establishment president, even when Obama left a gaping opening in his armor to do it. He didn't want to confront the Black shield over pragmatic Obama.

So here's what the "chess master" Obama left on the board for us:

Rooks: Secretary of Defense has always been Republicans, and our policy is to keep the ME at war for oil interests. -1 rook. He stopped the Iran bullshyt leading to war, and kept Israel from taking the region +1. His FBI Director is a Republican who is strongly against police wearing cameras, even if they're killing Blacks, even of they're sleeping in cars, and they monitor everyone, not just Muslims -1 Knight. The media is solely in the pocket of the establishment, and keeps the GOP in the game by not asking them about the cost of their policies or attacks on women's biological rights, as well as calling any progressive agenda insane or short-sighted without deliberation -1 knight. The Knights are the most mobile, and could be used to affect change if used the right way.

Obama doesn't give a damn about unions, and he has strong "keep the faith, change will be very slow and painful" Black religious and White female support -1 bishop. Progressives and others who know we can get change with the right reforms and actually playing chess and doing it to win, as well as the country is actually liberal +1 bishop.

Obama is very likely going to get a conservative justice passed, even if it looks like the person has liberal principkes, but that justice will always be anti-union, and against getting money out of politics and can effectively render any progressive legislation not Constitutional if challenged for 10 years at least -1 Queen.

Half of the Democrats support Obama and doesn't care about the legislation he passes, just the optics of another great speech and his feigned victim hood when he's actually throwing games -4 pawns.

So we have a bishop, rook, 4 pawns, and the king (liberal principles that Democrats claim to serve), against the entire GOP really (someone else can analyze their side).

:snoop:

No there was never any chance of that... of some revolution taking place.

The die has been cast on the USA for at least the past 30-40yrs.

I think this election is really just about, how fast do you want the usa to get to it's final destination :manny:

Pretty quickly. Maximum of 10 years. I think the window, because of TPP, and other things coming in a Hillary admin, is going to close very soon. We might just end up having a bloody revolution that will start with the next market crash. Europe BARELY saved off one, and it was mostly because of American intervention to bail out our banks. I wouldn't bank on European patience or American people benevolence next time.

The neoliberal banking kabal doesn't grasp this though.

:snoop: Working class gonna keep getting fukked in the ass as long as it doesn't organize itself and establish its own independent parties.
Sad, but true I just don't get how these folk can vote for Clinton. Bernie gets into deeper issues. Also, she threw a shot by saying donate to her site when she's getting money from banks and etc. I feel like I may have to give up on the future. No such thing man :snoop: Most of these old head Black leaders don't care whats in our best interest.

I voted for Bernie Sanders and right now I live in SC and I don't regret one bit voting for Bernie.

Let me explain to you guys what happened in this state and WHY Bernie Sanders lost and I think it's important to to understand the reason behind why Bernie lost. You guys need to understand how the demographic here in the South Carolina works.

Where I was the voting locations were deserted and empty, I didn't even see many older people. The thing SC is that there's nothing but older people, mostly over 50 who voted. A lot of the younger voters, usually Bernie supporters moved out of this state and moved somewhere else. So I had a feeling that Bernie was going to lose SC, even by a large margin, but that's how SC works. The Democratic demographic here is very low compared to the rest of the U.S. including the South. When it was time for the Repblican primary here in this state, the voting locations were full. This state isn't a progressive, prosperous state for people who are attracted to politicians like Bernie.

Republican Clyburn (a c00n) endorsed Hillary Clinton and majority of the older Blacks in this state think exactly like this man, my parents included. My parents don't know why they are voting for Hillary Clinton besides the fact that a lot of older people are still living in the past and they think voting Hillary Clinton in means you're voting in Bill and the romantic days of the 90's in spite of everything that happened in the 90's, especially the disadvantages faced against Blacks in SC.

Hillary appeals to people over 50 on the Democratic side and that's what this state comprises of the most.

So once again this isn't a huge Bernie upset, but it's more telling of how this state hasn't been taken seriously in politics in a long time. A lot of older people in this country are still longing for those "good ol days" instead of adapting and looking towards the future for their children and grandchildren.

Hillary is a Republican when it comes down to it.

Finally, someone who understands. Thank you for explaining. A lot of people wish/believe that we are in 1996 not 2016. I believe that many black people, especially the over 65 church going crowd, are in denial about what happened to us over the the last 20 years.

Let's not act like Trayvon and issues like that are really important to :flabbynsick: voters. These are the same people who demonize Hip-Hop and decry young people for being "thugs," not to mention the vitriol thrown our way every Sunday morning in church.
Wowzers lol ok. I'm catching up on this thread cause I went out for the night, hopefully somebody checked this.

These cac Bernie stans are getting quite annoying and out of fukking line tho.
They've been that way. We been trying to tell you but y'all wasn't hearing us. How are you supposed to get the black vote when Bernie stans are doing the racist white liberal thing.

Trying to win the Democratic Primary while calling the popular two-term sitting president weak is not a good look.
Honestly Bernie's whole campaign has a problem in Pres. Obama just because the general thinking is that Obama has been a good President who has gotten the country back on track while Bernie is basically running on a platform of "the country sucks and needs a complete overhaul to fix it" which can only be seen as an indictment on the guy who is the current leader of the party whose nomination Bernie wants to win. It was going to be a hard tightrope to walk from jump street for Sanders.
These Bernie stans are fools. You say it's not a good idea to say that, they're response is

But he is weak tho! :mindblown:

Lol, point missed as usual
