I would argue that Obama should be in the same camp as Kerry and Hillary.
And the reality of the matter is that we won't know just how the turnout thing will play out until there are just the two Dem and Repub candidates. It is going to be imperative for Hillary and the Dem Party to crank up their push to increase turnout and use popular folks like the Obamas as well as having Bernie come out just as hard for Hillary as Hillary did for Obama in 2008.
And as cynical as I am, I am really hoping that once the rest of the country starts paying attention fully to this election that people will start realizing that Donald Trump is not a serious person and should not be a realistic choice for POTUS.

Breh hillary is the favourite against Trump but not the overwhelming favourite. The fact is Trump can paint her as the establishment and that would really damage her in close battleground states. Remember Mitt Romney took NC and Indiana away from Obama and he is totally unlikeable, where as trump has a reagenesque quality. That and the Republicans on a national level will probably outspend the Dems as this is their last stand for a while.

Finally, what if the FBI indicts Hillary? The problem is not people switching to trump, its people saying fukk it trump aint so bad, im not voting for hillary. Look at what happened in California w Arnold. Low voter turnout is going to be devestating. She needs Warren as a VP or someone to motivate and make this election a clear choice. Right now Hillary is not proving herself as a national alternative to Trump. Her unfavorables are second only to Trumps. She has terrible numbers nationally. This was the argument the dems used against her in 2007

Okay so shes a better politician in the Primaries where she and her husband have built decades of ties in the community through quid pro quo

Shes still losing to trump in polling right now, and she wont be able to shame trump into being tame on the debate stage. I really fear Hillary v Trump more than Sanders v Trump
General election polling in February are meaningless. Always have been and always will be.
I also don't fear a Hillary vs Trump debate just because Hillary is better at punching back than Bernie is and against Trump that is going to be a necessary skill since the guy has no grasp on policy and will spend the entirety of every debate trying to traffic in personal attacks.
And there is also the issue of just how far he can go on a debate stage against a woman even if that woman is Hillary Clinton. It is not a good look to come off all aggressive and douchbaggy against a woman the way Trump has been able to against the dudes in the GOP primary.

Yeah, he does. But for a guy his age, he is pretty healthy. There's vids of him running out there literally :leon:
Yeah but that campaign run takes a toll on your physical. You think he can go another 6 months like this? He went from being energized to low energy these past couple of weeks.
