Can someone explain to me why only 13% of young voters showed up? Young people are the most ardent sander fans. It's....perplexing. Bernie had the same issue in Nevada...
:troll:
I voted for Bernie Sanders and right now I live in SC and I don't regret one bit voting for Bernie.

Let me explain to you guys what happened in this state and WHY Bernie Sanders lost and I think it's important to to understand the reason behind why Bernie lost. You guys need to understand how the demographic here in the South Carolina works.

Where I was the voting locations were deserted and empty, I didn't even see many older people. The thing SC is that there's nothing but older people, mostly over 50 who voted. A lot of the younger voters, usually Bernie supporters moved out of this state and moved somewhere else. So I had a feeling that Bernie was going to lose SC, even by a large margin, but that's how SC works. The Democratic demographic here is very low compared to the rest of the U.S. including the South. When it was time for the Repblican primary here in this state, the voting locations were full. This state isn't a progressive, prosperous state for people who are attracted to politicians like Bernie.

Republican Clyburn (a c00n) endorsed Hillary Clinton and majority of the older Blacks in this state think exactly like this man, my parents included. My parents don't know why they are voting for Hillary Clinton besides the fact that a lot of older people are still living in the past and they think voting Hillary Clinton in means you're voting in Bill and the romantic days of the 90's in spite of everything that happened in the 90's, especially the disadvantages faced against Blacks in SC.

Hillary appeals to people over 50 on the Democratic side and that's what this state comprises of the most.

So once again this isn't a huge Bernie upset, but it's more telling of how this state hasn't been taken seriously in politics in a long time. A lot of older people in this country are still longing for those "good ol days" instead of adapting and looking towards the future for their children and grandchildren.

Hillary is a Republican when it comes down to it.

:dame:"None of that counts. I'm glad Bernie stans are mad. I'm happy the less progressive candidate won. Really, I am."

Trump will outperform McCain and Romney.

Sanders hasn't technically lost yet, but the number of states he's viable in just isn't there for him to win. People that think he can still win are kind of delusional.

Damn. Scary world we live in

:mjlol:This is that delusional shyt I'm talking about.

"We did it brehs." The black vote matters brehs :blessed:. Wait till the general election when you have to talk across the aisle to exclusively white voters brehs. :mjlol:

The confederate flag/slavery is such a big issue in South Carolina, but we're going to ignore that during her time in Arkansas she continuously supported what the Confederate flag stood for/ in 2016 believes this twisted Reconstruction theory where the north is at fault for whites in the south being unable to get over their racism

Bruh, you completely missed that troll job.

I think the first one is bigger.

But him calling Obama weak was a frustration out of the stupid budget crisis with the Republicans in 2011. And Bernie wasn't lying! Obama turned his backs on progressives during his first term.

By all accounts, Bernie and Obama are on good terms and Hilary hasn't used that attack much since the first couple times.
Here's the thing. Obama is easily more personally close to Bernie. But Hilary is more poised to win the election.

How can Black people support the Clinton's? Did you forget their race batting campaign in 08?
Did you forget about the crime bill (I know Bernie voted for it as well)?
Did you forget about 3 strikes?
Did you forget about throwing Sister Souljah under the bus?
Did you forget she was with the white supremacist segregation Barry Goldwater?
Besides all that she supported the war in Iraq, she was one of the leading voices in invading Libya which lead to the destabilization of North Africa.
My god:snoop:. Do you think she will do anything for our communities? What did Bill do for Black people in the 90s? I just don't get it.
I'm not saying we should automatically support Bernie, because the answer he gave on reparations was horrible. I also think he doesn't fully understand how much white supremacy is a problem in this country. We shouldn't be given our vote to either one until they come up with some real policies for us and not just generic talking points. We are too easily satisfied.

Personally close as in what? Friendship? Obama and Hillary are closer friends than Obama is with Bernie. Bernie tried to get someone to run against him in 2012. Obama is not fukking with dude like that.
