I voted for Bernie Sanders and right now I live in SC and I don't regret one bit voting for Bernie.

Let me explain to you guys what happened in this state and WHY Bernie Sanders lost and I think it's important to to understand the reason behind why Bernie lost. You guys need to understand how the demographic here in the South Carolina works.

Where I was the voting locations were deserted and empty, I didn't even see many older people. The thing SC is that there's nothing but older people, mostly over 50 who voted. A lot of the younger voters, usually Bernie supporters moved out of this state and moved somewhere else. So I had a feeling that Bernie was going to lose SC, even by a large margin, but that's how SC works. The Democratic demographic here is very low compared to the rest of the U.S. including the South. When it was time for the Repblican primary here in this state, the voting locations were full. This state isn't a progressive, prosperous state for people who are attracted to politicians like Bernie.

Republican Clyburn (a c00n) endorsed Hillary Clinton and majority of the older Blacks in this state think exactly like this man, my parents included. My parents don't know why they are voting for Hillary Clinton besides the fact that a lot of older people are still living in the past and they think voting Hillary Clinton in means you're voting in Bill and the romantic days of the 90's in spite of everything that happened in the 90's, especially the disadvantages faced against Blacks in SC.

Hillary appeals to people over 50 on the Democratic side and that's what this state comprises of the most.

So once again this isn't a huge Bernie upset, but it's more telling of how this state hasn't been taken seriously in politics in a long time. A lot of older people in this country are still longing for those "good ol days" instead of adapting and looking towards the future for their children and grandchildren.

Hillary is a Republican when it comes down to it.

I can't say I am, but cmon motherfukkers. Do people not realize how this broad is a chameleon when there is much more information out there and available via the internet?

People are sheep breh :mjcry:

We can't save them or have them vote for their own interests. For 40 years people have been voting for neo-liberalism and more righter wing policies... and the Dems have been pushed to the right.

It's a shame.

Nothing will change till the next financial crisis IMO

Its the problem this country has when it comes to any minority group during an election. FOr some reason the conventional wisdom is that all black people or Hispanic people hold the exact same issues as being important and that there is no difference in what older blakc people are interested in or Leftist black people or religious black people or young black people etc...
It is just easier to lump minority groups into one big block instead of recognizing that those communities are just as varied when it comes to political views as anyone else.
Which makes it odd that he gets upset other black people on this board think differently than him although he acknowledges we aren't a monolith :jbhmm:

Maybe in law it's just natural to get upset when other people disagree but I guess I'm just a chill dude I can agree to disagree :yeshrug:

all those blk south carolinans are going to be disappointed when they realize their lives arent going to change much once hilary is on office
Let's not act like Burnie was ever gonna do anything for black folks anyway with Republicans controlling the house thanks to gerrymandering. I'm a black separatist nationalist and believe that a black autonomous region of our own is a solution. America never gave a fukk about us and never will.

Obama SAVE us and endorse Sanders :mjcry:
:pachaha: Once Obama is on the campaign trial, supporting HILLARY, its a wrap. That Obama magic is going to put her over the top :wow:and people will forget about Bernie Sanders. The Voting public has short term memories and sour grapes won't last until November for most.

He already said that Bernie was "One Note" :dame:.

The presidency is a notch on Hillary Clinton's belt. It's something she's sought after for decades. She's like the Democrats version of Mitt Romney in that sense.

I just feel like Bernie wants the presidency to try to push change to politics. Personally I hope if he loses the nomination he goes independent or someone does of the mold so I can vote for them.

I'm not getting up early on a Tuesday I gotta work to vote for somebody like Hillary. I'd rather sleep in and let the chips fall where they may. I get the feeling Trump's reasons for running for president aren't much different than Hillary's. They both want it just to have had it not to actually attempt to do anything meaningful.
