i think you were older when you got into x-men
because it is my belief that the x-men cartoonists contacted some brehs at NASA
and asked them to put in some variables into their supercomputers to answer the following questions:
'what character would appeal to all children all over the world,no matter age or race?

the scientists:

and the answer was:

children all over the world went like:

No. I've stated this in the comics thread in the film room Scott is the least exceptional of the original 5. He's a white boy with a daddy complex and anger issues that needs to be made to feel important despite his lack of it. He's captain America with eye beams, no heart and a need to follow orders.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, Captain America was never a traitor. Dude would take a bullet for any of his team members without hesitation and he was always liberal and kinda pro black. Cyclops always been a bytch especially in the age of the apocalypse arc. Even Jean stopped fukking with him.

I want to vote havok, but they always have him in that shytty ass ring costume and never in his dope ass x-factor fits....

War of Kings Havok is probably the best he had ever been. The whiny-little-Summers-brother schtick was overdone for waaaaay too long.

:myman: My man. People sleep on Scott because of his lame :flabbynsick: interpetations in the movies and cartoons, but he's a real one in the comics.

Bu-bu-b-b-but Cyclops is a lame teacher's pet!
We've seen Scott stand up to Professor X as early as the Dark Phoenix Saga in the 80s.

Honestly, people hate leaders, plain and simple. Some of y'all want Raphael to be all four Ninja Turtles, and it shows.
