GOP will go through a brief stage of denial if they get a few pickups in 2014, but their world will come crashing down again in 2016. I agree with Piff, they will get it eventually but not for awhile. In trying to cope with their declining demographics expect to see a lot of playing of one race against the other in the next few years. Hearing some of these conservatives pundits talk, you can tell it's the way they are most likely going to go.

The real test will be do we allow them to play a game of division with Black, Latino, Asian, and other immigrant voters, or do we see through the BS when it starts to happen, and call them out on it.

As far as the Mexicans go, they're realizing majority of white people aint on their side.

Once AZ hit with that immigration bs law they tried to pass, and other states acted like they were gonna do it too, Mexicans saw what the deal was. They let your people come over to work for half of what they'd pay an American worker, but they dont really want you here or like you anymore than they like blacks......and now it's gotten too crowded and middle-class white people have began complaining about their neighborhoods being taken over.

The funniest part is, the CEO's/top tier polticians allowed the Hispanics to come over here and left the "problem" to fall on their fanbase who votes for them. Meanwhile, them being in the top 1% are not affected by having their neighborhood demographics change, or having to basically learn Spanish to read in ur own neighborhood.
And YET, these same citizens and too blind to see it and want to elect these same politicians again

Yeah, that Bay of Pigs really hurt the Democrats but like you said, only the old people feel that way. Altho I can see why if I were alive back then. My generation that was born here and my parents generation didn't experience that so we don't harbor those feelings towards the Dems. But Obama has been trying to increase talks and trade with Cuba and other latin countries. So hopefully its a fresh start. You know most of the Latins down here still have ties to their home country someway. I also think Mexican is the highest minority nationwide. Maybe its Cubans in South Florida, but Mexico everywhere else. Just glad to see all us minorities united, now we gotta take the effort and improve the country.

Says that she was very upset when she went on Facebook and saw Hispanics she knew shytting on Obama and saying racist shyt about him after he won the election. Many of them young adults.

I am not surprised because this is still a big problem. I told her that part of assimilating into America is shytting on the black man, every other group did it (ex: Italians and Irish). Even though Latinos are an oppressed minority group, there is still strong cultural upbringings that are anti-black and won't change for a while, if ever.

I don't mean to detract from the positive vibes in this thread, but it is something to think about. Hopefully, some Latino brehs can shed light on this.

Sadly this is true. I'm Dominican my family runs from crunchy black to lily white although most of us are stuck in the center caramel/brown. It pisses me off when the lighter skin ones talk that black/racist shyt. Like our grandma, grandfather, neice and nephews who are dark don't exist.
