As many issues as 2014 had (awful rumble show, Wyatt and his crew being buried, Dean being booked bad enough to border on burial post shield, Cesaro getting buried, horrible pay per view to close the year “I wish you died in the womb”), wrestlemania was good and many of us assumed that Bryan would resume his push as top guy when ready to return from injury. Pretty sure the survivor series was good & DZ gave a great showing. We also didn’t have a horrible Roman, Corbin, or Alexa push that dominated the whole show yet. I vote 2014 by default since 2010-11 were peak super Cena/kill punk’s heat years & 2012-13 were almost as bad with that too.

2011 was the peak of my interest in WWE this decade, leading into 2012. There were definitely things that could have been different, and I don't disagree with the fact that the company blew their chance to have everybody interested in them again, but I don't think any single year has been as exciting as that one. I'm mostly saying this for the second half, but there was no greater collection of moments than this year.

2013 came really damn close because that year was fantastic through SummerSlam. The last couple months were :scust: and things didn't get better until the buildup for WrestleMania.

2015 had some entertaining moments too, but I don't look at it the same way I look at 2011 or 2013. Plus, there was some genuine bullshyt in there.

2016 had the return of the brand split, but the year was damn near trash up until then, and it was really SmackDown that was carrying the year after SummerSlam.

2015-2016 were memorable to me, at least from what I can recall. Can’t remember much of 2017, but I think it had some shining moments.

2013, all I remember are Punk’s big matches and the DB run.

I'm leaning towards 2013, just because Punk and D-Bry were exchanging best matches on the show for a good part of the year. Punk vs. Lesnar was great. The Shield was also hot, and AJ Lee made women's wrestling relevant again.

2014 is probably a close second with all the 3-man matches with Shield, Wyatts and Evolution & the Shield breakup with the Rollins/Ambrose feud. 2014 is also when NXT started popping off with Neville and Sami Zayn :sadsami:

2013 and there's no question about it. Shield 6 man tags galore every week. Shield vs Rhodes Brothers, The Rise of Daniel Bryan with him having a fukk ton of awesome matches on TV and PPV, the Wyatt Family started their fun run. Punk with his last motivated run facing Brock. Cesaro low key having an amazing in ring year.

I remembered all that shyt from the top of my head, I couldn't name 3 things form 7 years from this decade :mjcry:

13. The weak link storyline that built Daniel Bryan up to a main event player was one of the last memorable storylines they ran in the past 5-6 years. Punk still had energy and fire and it showed till atleast the fall before they finally broke his spirit and he coasted till he quit. The Rhodes/Shield storyline, Salmon Sport Jacket Mark with the fake retirement, the Dolph cash-in, then later double turn, the Wyatt/Shield brawl. So many fun moments and it felt like things were about to take a turn for the better. There were dark spots but this one of the last years where I feel like atleast minimal effort went into the show as a whole and there were actual storylines in place before things just went downhill slowly over the next few years

When Daniel Bryan took over from 2012-2014...add in the Rock returning to main event WM and there was nothing anything close to topping it.

2015 and 2016 Sasha Banks was real hot but they didn't do the right things for her and basically pushed Charlotte instead on some 1999 Cripple H shyt.

Wasn't a bunch of mid carders forced into the main event cause the roster was :flabbynsick: people were where they belonged for the most part.

It's interesting because the roster today is so large but yet it feels like the main eventers are mid carders.
