The reason that topic is there is because there was a corresponding topic in here already. When I see a thread like that, before I move it to the Root, I check and see if the Root already has a duplicate thread. If it does, I leave the other thread in TLR. With stories like this it's obvious there's enough draw to have discussions in both forums.
We're getting seriously off topic though. Let's move on and we can resolve this elsewhere.
More people look and post in the Locker room. This is the biggest news story now, and I think you are doing it a disservice by pushing it into this forum.

I haven't been following this approach.
I moderate based on the content of the thread rather than if it has received a lot of attention in its chosen forum.
But if you guys prefer us to keep topics in forums based on how popular they get vs content (this is tricky).
That's fine by me.
I can't think of anywhere but a forum to discuss diaspora issues for a thread on a black terror attack.

I haven't been around much but I see we have gone back to the concept of this being 'the bushes' where threads 'die' so I now get your outrage (although I don't agree with it). And every thread moved will be met with this same story.
And then mods will be apprehensive to move race threads to avoid backlash and then they stay and people will complain about tlr being filled with race threads and the cycle continues.
This isn't the race bushes.
There is no conspiracy.
But whatever I'll move it back.

That Root = Bushes narrative is not the prevailing viewpoint around here. People need to stop exaggerating conditions just because someone made one decision they don't agree with. It's tiring.
