Its freaking South Carolina, the fact that the US flag is on half mast and the confederate flag is standing at a tension, pause, is all that needs to be shown. Whites have been telling blacks to "Get over" Slavery for years yet they can't get over that Racist Flag and even government bodies defend it. Yet there are Black people I know that have spit that same line, "Oh Slavery is the past". Our Ancestors did not die horrible deaths for you to just say "Oh well, that's in the past". Jews would NEVER disrespect the loss of the Holocaust yet Whites and some blacks do it to Slavery all the time. American History Text Books sections on Slavery were pathetic and written by whites.
