Police in small Mississippi city discriminate against Black residents, Justice Department finds

The problem with a lot of those small Mississippi towns is that they are small enough to fly under the radar without public scrutiny or oversight.

Most literally just consist of a few officers or volunteers if that.

scary thing about it is there's prolly one white cop in Lexington.

But a combination of being isolated (the closest town to Lexington is a smaller town), lack of money (they ain't paid shyt) and folks power tripping cause theyre cops but are from the area means youre gonna get a lot of corruption.

edit: before anybody asks, I'm from Holmes County, and was born in Lexington, but never lived there. But my heavy "in the club" days were spent in Lexington.
